As tempting as it may seem, do not pack your favorite clothes when going on an outdoor holiday. Make sure you take a good pair of strong shoes or boots with you. You will be doing many things outside, including hiking and possibly climbing. Pack yourself a portable space heater if you will be spending your nights in a cold cabin. This will keep you warm all night long.
